President Buhari as part of his activities at the ongoing 77th United Nations General Assembly (NUGA) in New York, USA participated in the Program of Side Event on Strengthening Resilience and Sustaining Development.
In attendance were UN Under Secretary General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Mr. Martin Griffiths, Nigeria’s Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development Sadiya Umar Farouq, United Nations Deputy Secretary-General Amina Mohammed, the United States Rep. for United Nations Management and Reform Amb. Christopher Lu, Borno State Governor Prof. Babagana Zulum and IOM Deputy DG Ugochi Florence Daniels.
Others are the Minister of Women Affairs Pauline Tallen, Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi and Senior Special Assistant to the President on Sustainable Development Goals, Princess Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire.
