The Association of Certified Protocol Practitioners In Nigeria (ACPPN) has revealed how its 2025 activities and operations will be.
Speaking at the Cocktail Event to honour the Admiral Superintendent of the Naval Dockyard Limited, Rear Admiral Abolaji Abolade Orederu during an event tagged The Protocol Renaissance in Nigeria at the weekend held at the Naval Dockyard Limited in Lagos, the Executive President of the ACPPN, Mr. Micheal Ikinbor, said that going into the New Year, the association will be doing a lot of collaborations to sensitise Nigerians about the modern practices of protocol as against the traditional ways the society knew it to be.
He said: “In 2025, we are going to organize a big conference where attendance will cut across different sections of the society including but not limited to the diplomatic community in Nigeria, public and private sectors, individuals and lot more.
“We will use the Year 2025 to engage lots of stakeholders. We are also bring under one umbrella some of the splinter groups of protocol practitioners. By the special grace of God, 2025 will be very engaging for us. Though our executive is one year old, so expect so much from us,” Ikinbor said.
Corroborating her president, Mrs. Franca Kemebradikumo Akpi, the Director of Event Directorate, ACPPN said that “We are ready to take protocol to the next level in 2025 because it is an important and intergal part of our lives
“It is important that people know how to place things, how to do things, how to address people and how best to handle situations.
“I can assure you that the Year 2025 is coming with a lot of things. We will do a lot more of collaborations with different set of people both in the private and public sectors. The plan is to speak the word protocol for everybody to understand.”
The Association of Certified Protocol Practitioners in Nigeria is a non-profit and non-governmental organization aimed at promoting and raising the standards of protocol practice in Nigeria and sharing best practices globally. The Association is focused on advancing the career, skills and visions of its members by rebranding the concept of protocol professionalism through the best certifications and qualifications that will enhance capacity building and good leadership qualities.
