The family of Akibu Alfred Bolaji Kuyebi has announced the death of their patriarch, the late Ven/Sup/Prophet Bolaji Kuyebi, who passed on to glory on 23 March 2026 after a brief illness at 81 years of age.
Family sources revealed that the late founder of the Celestial Church of Christ (CCC), Iyanu Cathedral Parish of 9 Ori- Ade Close, Yewande Giwa Central, Ogun State, southwest Nigeria, was said to have undergone a series of emotional trauma since the Nigerian Army has been looking for one of his children, Samson Olalekan Kuyebi, who participated in the 2020 EndSARS protest in the country. The late clergyman was said to have died of complications of high blood pressure, diabetes, and stroke.
According to the burial programmes, the service of songs will be held on 13 May 2026 at 4 pm in the church premises, while the Christian wake will be held the following day. The final burial ceremony will be held on 15 May 2026.
